Young adults get to spend time with new and old friends – but with a lot more freedom.

Take on challenging activities or chill out kayaking down a swift flowing river watching bald eagles soar in the sky. Indulge your competitive spirit with an Adventure Race that is designed for all levels incorporates activities such as orienteering, kayaking, and biking.

Young Adults (ages 18-25, must have graduated high school if 18) have the best of all worlds – hanging with your friends during a planned schedule of exciting activities designed for young adults, but with more freedom to participate in the different options at the Summits. You’ll benefit from the knowledge and experience of our young adult Summit leaders, but with more opportunity to explore your unique interests– from kayaking streams to thrilling hikes, mountain biking, sailing, geology and high ropes courses – every Summit is a smorgasbord of adventure and education.

How our Young Adult Program Works

The Young Adults meet around 8:00 AM to begin the day’s activities. They may stay on campus or rove widely to enjoy all the best options this location has to offer. Typically, the scheduled program is done by 3:30 PM, but if there is a special adventure out there, we may stay out longer. The group usually heads back for dinner in the dining hall and the evening programs with family and friends. Generally, there is one overnight campout night off campus.

Your program is led by a fearless leader who has scoped out in advance all the best experiences for your Summit week with the Young Adults.

Two months before the Summit, we send out specific schedules and packing lists to make sure you are ready for the best week of your life!
