Pamela Sabo graduated from The Ohio State University and is a data analyst for an insurance company in Columbus, Ohio. She and her husband Aaron homeschooled their two boys for seven years. She enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking
Aaron Sabo Aaron works in aircraft maintenance in Columbus, Ohio. He and his wife Pamela homeschooled their two boys for seven years. He frequently volunteers at the STEM school they attend. Some of his hobbies include home remodeling and building projects with the kids. He also enjoys hiking and riding dirt bikes on their 50 acre tree farm. This will be his fifth Summit and third year as part of the Transportation team.
Bill Sabo was in charge of transportation for the 2014 and 2015 Summit after assisting with transportation at the 2011, 2012 and 2013 Summits. He attended his first Summit in 2003 at The Sunday River Resort in Maine as a guest of his future wife Sue. He was hooked for life! The Summit wasn’t bad either! Since 2003, not only has Bill gained a wonderful new family at home, but also a Summit family of the finest people imaginable. The Ghost Ranch Summit will be his 14th.
Carl Brown was born in Newfoundland, and currently lives in Nova Scotia, Canada. His first summit was in 2004 at Estes Park, Colorado. His wife is Gloria Brown, his daughter is Carla Brown (Green Lifestyles program in 2009 and 2010, Green Tours program in 2012 and 2013 ) and he is grandfather to Nora and Russell. Carl worked 34 years with Imperial Oil, an affiliate of ExxonMobil as a Planning /Real Estate Manager. He retired in 2003 and has continued to do contract work with Imperial Oil since retirement. Carl has a business degree from Memorial University, Newfoundland. He says he enjoys dealing with people and has plenty of energy to coordinate, organize and manage. He says that must be why the Transportation Coordinator role fits his personality. He used to be a Venturer/Boy Scout leader dealing with ages 14 – 17. They experienced many outdoor activities including winter and summer camping, hiking and canoeing. He has also been an Advisor for the Duke of Edinburgh Program, a soccer and T ball coach. The Maine Summit will be his eighth.
